The FLOW PHYSICS & ENGINEERING LABORATORY focuses on fluid dynamics, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), and artificial intelligence (AI) to advance next-generation energy and environmentally sustainable systems. We integrate high-fidelity simulations, experiments, and data-driven methods to understand and design complex multiphysics flows. Our research leverages advanced AI techniques—including deep learning and deep reinforcement learning—to enable fast prediction, automated simulation, and intelligent design optimization, overcoming the limitations of conventional approaches. These efforts address critical challenges in energy systems, aerodynamics, and environmental sustainability. Through close collaboration with academia and industry, we develop scalable and innovative solutions for real-world engineering problems while educating the next generation of engineers.
